Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 15 5G in India, along with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet. The new smartphone continues to focus on dominating the mid-range segment.
It runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which promises a 30% CPU boost and a 10% GPU improvement compared to its predecessor.
The chipset features a 4×2.4GHz Cortex-A78 and 4×1.8GHz Cortex-A55 CPU setup. This suggests the phone is more focused on design and overall appeal, as in the current generation, 2.4 GHz clocked SoCs are considered a standard offering rather than a major performance upgrade.
As for the display, the Redmi Note 15 5G is said to feature a 6.77-inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It also supports 3,840 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a 12-bit color depth for improved visual quality.
On the camera side, the phone comes with a 108MP primary camera with OIS, paired with an 8MP secondary camera that supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps. For selfies, the device features a 20MP front-facing camera. In the battery department, the Redmi Note 15 5G comes with a 5,520mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.
