The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is expected to launch next month alongside the highly anticipated Xiaomi 17 Series smartphone. Both devices are rumored to be announced on the same day, though there’s a possibility of a short gap of up to two days between their announcements.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro will launch in China first, while details about its global release are still under wraps. Interestingly, pre-reservations for the tablet have already begun in China through China Mall, starting at just CNY 1.

Some early sources, including popular tipster Digital Chat Station, have revealed several details about the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro. According to the leaks, the tablet will feature an 11.2-inch LCD display, designed to provide a comfortable experience for multitasking and desktop-level usage.

The pad will house a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 67W fast charger that will run on the latest HyperOS 3 UI skin. Pad 8 Pro reaches 2831 scores in single-core tests and 9260 in multi-core as per the Geekbench listing report by Gizmochina.

The listed information also shows that the pad will come with up to 16GB RAM and anticipates up to 1TB storage. The 512GB storage model is highly expected to be the base model of the pad.

In addition, it will support desktop-level productivity apps such as WPS, CAJ, and CAD, enhancing efficiency and boosting daily work. Also, the company will launch a keyboard and stylus pen for better compatibility that will transform the tablet into a mini laptop.

The tablet is expected to launch with HyperOS 3, though it is currently still in the development and testing phase. Previous leaks suggested that it could debut very soon, most likely alongside the Xiaomi 17 Series next month. The new UI update is packed with several AI-driven improvements and fresh features.
