The Tecno Pova Slim 5G first look appeared on many official sources, including the Flipkart e-commerce and Tecno websites. Tecno has introduced a pretty new and futuristic camera island on the rear side, calling it the Dynamic Mood Light Design.
The company has claimed that the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is 5.75 mm thick, the slimmest phone ever by the company, packed with innovative design and a huge 5200 mAh battery.
Tecno Pova Slim 5G Launch Date
The first teaser appeared on Flipkart, revealing that the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is set to launch on September 4, 2025, at 12 PM IST. According to the official teaser, the phone features a unique pill-shaped island across the top of the rear panel, housing two cameras on each side with an LED flashlight in the center.
Tecno is calling this a ‘Dynamic Moodlight Design,’ which they claim to be both unique and innovative. In February 2025 at MWC, the company showcased a concept design with the brand name Tecno Spark that has a similar design.
Tecno Pova Slim 5G Specifications
The Tecno Pova Slim 5G early leaks suggest the phone will be packed with a 5200 mAh battery, a 6.78-inch, 144 Hz OLED curved display, and a 50 MP primary camera on the rear side.

Apart from these, as all big brands are running for the Custom AI Assistance, Tecno has developed and improved the Ella AI for the Tecno Mobile.
According to the official teaser, the Ella AI on the Tecno Pova Slim 5G will support all Indian languages along with English, targeting users across all regions of India.
In addition, the company has also introduced AI Writing Assistance and Circle to Search features to give multi-functions at the same dashboard.
In terms of colors, the teaser reveals a white variant, while other options are yet to be announced.
The company also promises connectivity even when there is no network area. It supports no-network communication technology and offers VoWi-Fi Dual Pass.
In terms of performance, we can expect a similar or even better CPU compared to the previously launched Tecno Pova Curve 5G. The Pova Curve 5G was introduced with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, delivering strong multitasking performance. According to reports, the upcoming Tecno Pova Slim 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC.
Also, it is expected to run on Android 15, with the promise of three years of software updates. Over time, the device will receive UI enhancements along with additional AI-powered features.
Final Thoughts
From the available details, it is likely that the Tecno Pova Slim 5G will launch in India at around a ₹25,000 price point. Despite being in this budget segment, its design stands out and could outperform other brands in the same range. The new back panel design has already become a hot topic among users.
