The Realme 16 series is set to launch in India on January 6, 2026. While Realme has not officially confirmed the full lineup yet, multiple tipsters suggest that the series will include two models: the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro Plus.

While the presence of a Snapdragon chip is almost confirmed, the exact chipset model is yet to be revealed.
The most talked-about highlight is the 200MP primary rear camera, which is expected to make it one of the most improved camera phones, packed with several new features. According to the source, the phone will receive three years of OS updates and four years of security updates. It will run Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Additionally, the phone will come with NEXT AI features, including AI Framing Master, AI Recording, and Google Gemini integration.
Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus Price
The company has not revealed any details about the pricing of the models yet. However, the Realme 16 Pro was recently spotted Listed on Amazon—either accidentally or briefly—which revealed its pricing along with the storage variants. This listing suggests that the Realme 16 Pro Plus may also see a price hike of around 10 to 15 percent across all variants.
Based on the Realme 16 Pro pricing, the Pro Plus variant may start at Rs 37,999 for the base model. If Realme follows the same pricing pattern, all other variants are also expected to be priced in a similar manner.
However, the official details about the upcoming models, pricing, and storage variants are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2026. According to sources, the phone is almost confirmed to launch on January 6.
