The Oppo A6 Pro, a new Oppo A-Series member, is scheduled to launch on September 9 with a 6-year durability promise, despite Oppo having discreetly introduced the Oppo A6 GT in China in recent days. This year’s Oppo A Series phones prioritized mid-range pricing and durability.
The company also claims that this phone is IP68 water resistant and drop resistant, making it the most robust phone available. The phone’s early specs revealed by the China Telecom website revealed many things about the phone.
Design And Display
In terms of design, it differs from the recently released Oppo A6 GT phone with its squarish-radius-corner design. Interestingly, the handset has a flat display with a punch-hole cutout on the front, promising a comfortable and premium in-hand feel.
The phone comes with a 6.57-inch 120 Hz display at 2376 × 1080p resolution, ensuring the durability-centric design with another layer of display protection.
Performance
A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip with a primary core speed of 2.5 GHz powers the phone. Apart from that, it houses a huge 7000 mAh battery that supports 80 W fast charging, which claims 50% charge in just 29 minutes.
The iQOO Z9s also houses the same Dimensity 7300 chip, which claims no-lag performance, which is a strong advantage that will make the Oppo A6 Pro one of the most stable performance phones in this segment.
Also, it is running on the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 skin, featuring new features and stability in the system.
Camera
For camera products, it borrows a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back along with an LED flash, and for the selfies, the phone placed a 16MP camera on the front side.
Battery
Despite having a massive battery, the phone manages to weigh 190 g and have a body thickness of 7.96 mm. It is available in black, gold, and greenish finishes.
Memory
In terms of memory options, the phone is separated into 8GB RAM/256GB storage and 16GB RAM/512GB storage variants. With these memory options, it narrows the memory shortages.
Price And Availability
Currently the phone is available in the China region and could launch soon in the global market as a rebranded version with minor changes in UI skin and chipsets. In terms of pricing, the Oppo A6 Pro sale is yet to be revealed and is expected to remain in the mid-range price, expected to cost around 1699 yuan for the base model.
