Nothing is preparing to launch another smartphone—the Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro, which will join its mid-range lineup under the “Xa” series introduced earlier. Recently, the company launched the Nothing Phone 3 series in the flagship budget segment of the Indian market.
Additionally, Nothing is currently developing Nothing OS 4.0 (Stable) and has already opened beta testing for eligible devices as of yesterday. According to sources, a new Nothing Phone has been spotted in the IMEI database, believed to be part of the rumored Nothing Phone 4a series. When we look at the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro, their model numbers were A059 and A059P.
Similarly, the database now shows model numbers A069 and A069P, strongly hinting that these could belong to Nothing’s upcoming Xa lineup, most likely the Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro.
In the IMEI database, only the model numbers were spotted. Unfortunately, no other details are available to confirm Nothing’s upcoming lineup, and even the launch information has not been revealed. However, popular tipster Yogesh Brar hints that the launch or official announcement of the Nothing Phone 4a series could take place in mid-Q1 2026.
Expectations among Nothing Phone fans are high, especially after the recent launch of the Phone 3a series, which impressed users with its optimized performance and visually appealing UI. However, the upcoming Nothing OS 4.0 Stable is expected to bring even greater optimization, particularly in terms of comfort and usability.
The new OS is expected to deliver several optimized experiences, including an Extra Dark Mode, refreshed fonts, and redesigned widget styles—features that bring Nothing closer to top-tier smartphone makers.
Overall, the Nothing Phone 4a series could be made official by mid-next year, although there is still no official information regarding the standard Nothing Phone 4. Traditionally, Nothing launches a regular flagship device first, followed by the more affordable “a” series variant.
