Nothing is preparing to launch its new TWS earbuds ahead of the official announcement; an early leak rendered on the internet suggested the new Nothing Earbud has improvements in battery life, making it alive for long music hours.
On September 16th, Nothing officially teased a video on social media showcasing the new Super Mic feature, which is built into the buds’ case. It can also function as a microphone during calls.

While the built-in in-bud mics are usually sufficient for this, adding an extra microphone suggests the presence of more advanced features. According to Android Headlines, it might even be intended for use as an audio recorder.
As for the build, it’s officially confirmed that the case incorporates metal for enhanced durability. A source also revealed that the Nothing Ear (3) buds come equipped with a 12 mm dynamic driver, 45 dB adaptive noise cancellation, and 24-bit Hi-Res LDAC audio support.
According to the latest leak from Android Headlines, the Nothing Ear (3) is expected to offer improved battery life—delivering up to 10 hours of continuous playback on the buds alone and up to 38 hours in total when paired with the charging case.

The long-lasting battery life provides extra convenience during travel or while binge-watching web series. Nothing’s noise cancellation has already proven to be impressive, and now the extended battery life feels like adding a shining moon to the night sky.
Comparing it with the newly launched AirPods Pro 3, it gives 8 hours of playback alone and 24 hours of battery life including the case, so Nothing Ear (3) is adding extra advantages.
One of the most popular options in the industry, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r, also delivers 38 hours of total playback with the case, features a 12.4 mm driver, and holds a solid user rating of 4.4 out of 5. However, when compared side by side, the Nothing Ear (3) comes out ahead, excelling in nearly every aspect—from design to on-paper specifications.
