iPhone 18 Pro Under-Display Face ID & Camera Concept

The iPhone 18 lineup has entered mass production, and ahead of its launch, a concept revealing the iPhone 18 Pro’s under-display Face ID sensor and side punch-hole camera has surfaced.

Tipster Jon Prosser has revealed a video claiming that the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max relocates the selfie camera to the top-right corner and places the Face ID sensor under the display, creating a clean visual space instead of a large cutout.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a side punch-hole selfie camera and an under-display Face ID sensor, replacing the centered selfie camera, including reports from MacRumors.

The large centered cutout will disappear, making the visual experience better without removing core features like Dynamic Island.

But wait—what about Dynamic Island features? Don’t worry, Dynamic Island will still be stitched to the selfie camera, with only a small change. Popular YouTuber TechDroider has published a short video showcasing a concept of the side punch-hole camera and Dynamic Island features working together.

The camera is not just relocated, but it is also smaller compared to its predecessors, according to a new leak claimed by Jon Prosser.

These big changes will mark a major upgrade and a significant shift for Apple, something the company has been working on for many years. This could introduce a new design concept and new features.

Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly also working on an iPhone Fold, and these significant improvements could represent a major shift for foldables as well, with advanced features like lightning-fast Face ID scanning and unlocking.

Other expected features include a 6.9-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a plateau-style camera system, the new A20 Pro chip reportedly developed using TSMC’s 2 nm technology, a side camera button with no swipe features, and a dedicated connectivity chip reportedly called the C1x or C2.
