The Huawei Nova 14 series has officially debuted in global markets, bringing a few hardware tweaks compared to its Chinese variant. The international version also ships with Huawei’s latest EMUI 15 software update, enhancing the overall user experience.
The Huawei 14 Regular and 14 Pro are the two models in Huawei’s 14 Series to hit the international market. Here are the details about the both models—
Huawei Nova 14 Regular
The Huawei Nova 14 regular phone measured 161.73 x 75.48 x 7.18 mm in dimension and weighs 192 grams, which is a medium-lightweight phone. It houses a 6.7-inch OLED panel, which supports a 120 Hz screen refresh rate.
Interestingly, the global variant of the Huawei Nova 14 series comes with the latest EMUI 14.2 skin that promises an improved overall user experience. It will be offered in 256GB and 512GB storage options, eliminating the need for external card support.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova 14 series features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens supporting 3x optical zoom with OIS and AI image stabilization, and an 8MP ultra-wide macro camera. Battery performance is another highlight, as the device is equipped with a large 5500 mAh battery paired with 100 W fast charging support. For the color aspects, it will be available in crystal blue, white, and black options.
Huawei Nova 14 Pro
The Nova 14 Pro is an enhanced version of the standard Nova 14, featuring a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device measures 161.73 x 75.48 x 7.18 mm and weighs just 192 grams, offering a sleek yet premium in-hand feel.
The twist is that the Nova 14 Pro is said to run on the latest EMUI 15 skin, while the standard Nova 14 ships with EMUI 14.2. Despite this difference, both models aim to deliver an enhanced user experience with only minor variations between the two software versions. The Nova 14 Pro is also expected to come with the same storage options of 256GB and 512GB, providing ample space for apps, media, and files without the need for external expansion.
When it comes to photography, the Nova 14 Pro steps up with a quad rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main adjustable sensor, a 12MP telephoto portrait lens with optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral sensor, offering versatile shooting capabilities. The battery is also the same at 5500 mAh capacity and a 100 W charger.
According to reports from GSMArena, Huawei may also introduce another model in the international Nova 14 series lineup, possibly called the Huawei Nova 14 Ultra. Right now, the Ultra model is only available in China, and the international model is not yet official.
