Honor MagicPad 3 Pro to Debut Next Month Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite

Honor is preparing for a major launch in the tablet segment, with the MagicPad 3 Pro set to debut next month in China alongside the Honor Magic 8 Series. Just ahead of the official announcement, early leaks appeared online, creating a buzz as some netizens claimed it looks like an iPad copy.

The leaked images showcase an iPad-like camera island on the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro, drawing attention from both Android and iOS users. The design features a similar dual-camera layout with nearly identical positioning, along with a rectangular LED flash.

According to sources, the tablet will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Digital Chat Station, a popular blogger in China, has revealed another leak about the tablet. According to the report, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will feature a 13.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3200 × 2136 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate.

Interestingly, Honor’s self-developed E2 energy-efficiency chip will also be integrated alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

For power, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro is expected to pack a 12,450 mAh battery, the same capacity as its predecessor, the Honor MagicPad 3. The previous model supported 66W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. While the charging details of the MagicPad 3 Pro have not yet been confirmed, reports suggest possible improvements in wireless charging, with 12W reverse charging rumored, while the wired charging is likely to remain unchanged.

In addition, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will ship with MagicOS 10 out of the box while running on its native operating system internally. Leaked images reveal three color options: Floating Gold, Moon White, and Starry Sky Gray. The pricing is expected to remain similar to its predecessor, the Honor MagicPad 3, with a slight increase, likely ranging between EUR 360 and EUR 380.
