Google Partners with Reliance (Announced by Google): Reliance Jio is offering an 18-month subscription to the Google Gemini Pro Plan for free to Jio 5G subscribers, thanks to a partnership with Google. Reliance is investing in India’s digital revolution by bundling the 36,000 INR value into a 5G plan.
This offer was initially launched for Youth First members aged 18 to 25; however, new reports suggest that it will be extended to all Joined 5G subscribers in the coming months.
Reliance Jio is a widely used ISP in India, offering unlimited 5G service in India to date along with limited 4G internet at the lowest cost compared to foreign countries.
As of now, the most popular and minimal recharge plan for getting unlimited 5G access is the INR 349 recharge, which also offers Jio AI Cloud with up to 50GB of storage and Jio TV access.

According to Google’s official report, the partnership between Google and Reliance is offering Jio 5G subscribers free access to the premium Google Gemini AI Pro plan, aiming to promote wider adoption and deeper engagement with Gemini AI among users in rural areas. Here are the descriptions of the features which will be included along with recharge benefits—
- Gemini 2.5 Pro Access: This is Google’s Gemini’s most powerful model, which offers longer content based on the user’s search.
- Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 Model Access: Nano Banana is Gemini’s newest and most powerful text-to-image generation model, while Veo is the most advanced text-to-video generation tool. In addition to the base model, the Nano Banan and Veo 3.1 models offer an enhanced and more powerful experience. These will also be bundled for free with the Reliance Jio 5G recharge plan.
- Access to Optimized NotebookLM: This Jio 5G plan also offers access to NotebookLM, optimized for studying, research, and note-taking.
- Up to 2TB Cloud Storage: Along with most advance AI Model access, these plans also will offer up to 2TB Google Cloud Storage to store the Google Photos, Gmail, Drive backups.
How to Activate Gemini 2.5 Pro after Jio 5G Recharge?
To activate the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, users must install the MyJio app on their phone to claim the offer. Log in to the MyJio app using your Jio mobile number after recharging it with a valid plan.
After completing a successful recharge, open the MyJio app and check the notification section to claim access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model and follow the steps provided by Google.
