Samsung is preparing for the Galaxy S26 Series lineup. Ahead of this, some key details have surfaced online, creating a buzz. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been spotted on the BIS website, revealing some important new details about the phone.
Most likely, the Galaxy S26 lineup will be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, users will still have to wait to see when it will take place next year, as reported by Forbes. Regarding the global launch event date, South Korean news agency Yonhap News has reported that the Galaxy Unpacked event will likely take place in February 2026 in San Francisco.
They also said that the new Galaxy S26 lineup will be powered by the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), which will be widely used in the global market. The Exynos 2600 chip is built on the industry’s first 2-nanometer gate-all-around (GAA) technology and is currently in mass production.
With the 2-nanometer chip in the works, it looks like Samsung is aiming to take app performance and mobile gaming to the next level. This tiny 2-nm chipset promises not just high-end speed, but also better efficiency and strong AI support.
Samsung also mentioned that the Exynos 2600 brings together a powerful CPU, NPU, and GPU all in one compact chip, making it a real powerhouse for the next Galaxy S26.
Compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2500, the new Exynos 2600 chip offers 39% better performance for core computing tasks and 113% higher generative AI performance, making AI-powered features faster, stronger, and more responsive.
We’re excited to see the improvements in the AI framework, as the new chip can perform faster and more accurately than the previous version. Users can expect noticeable upgrades in Samsung AI Assistant, image editing, image enhancement, background removal, and even message or call summarizing.
The Galaxy S26 Series Family
In the Galaxy S26 lineup, the base model will see modest improvements, while the Pro and Ultra models are expected to receive major upgrades across the board, from display to storage and storage type. Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Edge may join the family as the slimmest model in the series, featuring several enhancements.

However, we’ve already seen what happened with the previously launched Galaxy S25 Edge, which struggled with poor sales in the global market. This might have made Samsung cautious, but recent reports suggest we could see another slim model in the Galaxy S26 series, featuring necessary upgrades that could help boost its sales. The Galaxy S26 Plus is also expected to be the part of new family, as it has been listed on India’s BIS website.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Progress to India Launch
The Galaxy S26 Ultra has been spotted on the BIS website, and the recent EB-BS946 listing indicates that Samsung will continue the Plus model in the Galaxy S26 series.
Judging by the company’s progress and the certifications it’s receiving, the Galaxy S26 series could appear in the first quarter of the year and may officially launch in the middle of next year.
Key Details And Expected Features
According to leaked data, the phone will be powered by a 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset, delivering ultra-powerful performance for gaming and AI features.
The listing doesn’t reveal battery details, but SammyFans reports that the Galaxy S26 Plus is confirmed to have a 4,900mAh battery, similar to the S25 Plus.
The base model could come with a 4,300mAh battery, while the Pro and Ultra models may feature a 5,200mAh battery. The Edge model is expected to have battery life similar to the Plus model.
