ColorOS 16 will reportedly launch with an iOS-inspired Liquid Glass UI that powers a vibrant look.

Oppo’s upcoming and most awaited ColorOS 16 is now highly expected to be introduced on 15th October 2025 along with the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro devices. These devices will be the first to get the in-house Android 16-based ColorOS 16 skin.

The source also revealed that the new update will include Apple’s iOS-inspired Liquid Glass and translucent aesthetic UI.

Also, the source says its dynamic and fluid animation looks cool and futuristic, and Smartprix marked it a New Era because, frequently, many companies started implementing the Liquid Glass-like UI for their smartphones.

It first emerged in Apple’s iOS 26 beta, followed by HyperOS, but it is now rumored to be implemented in the upcoming OriginOS 6 and ColorOS 16. The new interface will make comfortable and easy accessing of features as well as creative elements on the lock screen, home screen, and the notifications.

ColorOS appears to have shifted its focus to comfort; they have made the new UI easy to use while remaining creative. The liquid glass interface will also affect notifications, the home screen, settings, widgets, the lock screen, and more.

Apart from these, it is highly expected that the AOD features will be improved and give a full screen. These features will properly optimize battery consumption. The update will also include redesigned widgets and lock screen features, as well as major graphics improvements.
