iPhone Air claimed to be the most durable and slimmest Phone by Apple

Apple hosted the awe-dropping event on 9th September to introduce a bunch of products, including a new member in the iPhone family, the iPhone Air. featuring a camera bump on the back that looks similar to the Google Pixel 9 Pro camera island.

The iPhone Air is just 5.5 mm thick, made with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and back that makes the device lighter. For a major move, Apple provided a 6.6-inch OLED XDR display that supports a 120 Hz screen refresh rate. Not only that, but for the first time, an iPhone has a 3000-nit peak brightness display. Even Samsung’s slimmest phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, does not have a display even close to 3000 nits peak.

In terms of camera, it comes with a single 48MP camera on the back inside a pill-shaped island along with an LED flash. This camera shape is called the “Plateau” bump by the company. This was an on-paper difference between the dual camera on the back of Samsung’s slimmest Galaxy S25 Edge, which had a 200MP primary and a 12MP UW. On the front, iPhone Air has an 18MP camera with a center stage AI-improved selfie camera.

The iPhone Air is rumored to have Apple’s most advanced Bionic A19 Pro chip, which has a 16-core neural engine, 2X performance cores, and 4X efficiency cores. This chip is said to provide stable performance that is superior to that of the standard iPhone 16.

For the power, iPhone Air carries a 2800 mAh battery. Regarding pricing, the iPhone Air is $999. Preorders have begun since the launch date and will go on sale on September 19.

In comparison to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, both are close, but the iPhone Air has a slimmer and lighter body than the S25 Edge phone, which is 5.8 mm and weighs 163 grams. However, the Galaxy S25 Edge has a bigger battery housing, 3900 mAh, along with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
