The Xiaomi 16 Pro is rumored to launch in China next month, about a week after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit, which begins on September 23, 2025. The device is expected to feature a secondary display on the back panel, while its camera island design appears to be inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro.
According to the leaked image, the phone has a big camera shape packed with two camera lenses, and just below the camera area is placed another lens along with an LED flash.
The image shows there is a horizontally aligned rectangle shape packed with two camera lenses vertically on the left and a secondary display on the right, as we have already seen in the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
Popular tipster Ishan Agrawal revealed the image of the phone, which had an additional display on the back, and disclosed the true design. Apart from that, Xiaomi 16 will not feature a secondary screen panel.
The company has not revealed anything about the phone’s on-paper specs, but it is highly expected that the Xiaomi 16 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip along with a next-gen GPU.

The Xiaomi 16 Pro is anticipated to be available for 5499 yuan for the base model in China, while a global launch is still under discussion. In most cases, Chinese phones come to the global market with some major changes in components, so the price can be different from that.
Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro are expected to carry the same camera lenses, with a 50 MP primary camera on the back. Surprisingly, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra also has a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary camera along with two 48MP UW and telephoto lenses.
The official on-paper specifications and details are still in the house and yet to be released; most probably the first teaser will be released on 15th September, as some sources indicated.
