This is not the first time Samsung has introduced an FE model in its premium lineup. The Galaxy S25 FE 5G is the fifth FE model from Samsung. The first was the Galaxy S20 FE, followed by the S21 FE, S23 FE, S24 FE, and now the latest, the Galaxy S25 FE.

Samsung offers up to 7 years of major Android and One UI updates from a device’s launch. If the Galaxy S25 FE debuts with the latest Android 16, it could continue receiving updates long after the standard S25 models, launched with Android 14, reach the end of their update cycle. This gives the S25 FE a clear advantage in long-term software support.
Apart from these, the Galaxy S25 FE will get an upgrade in charging technology. The new 25 FE model will support 45W fast charging along with the S25+ and S25 Ultra.
Not only that, but the Galaxy S25 FE also has a camera upgrade. The new Galaxy S25 FE will come with a 12 MP shooter, while previous FE models have the 10 MP shooter on the front side.

The launch of the phone has been confirmed, but the official pricing is yet to be announced. According to early leaks, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to start at ₹68,999 for the 128GB model and go up to ₹86,999 for the 512GB variant.
