Motorola is preparing to launch a new phone in China called the Moto X70 Air Pro. Interestingly, the phone is expected to arrive in India under a different name, likely the Moto Signature, according to the latest leak.
Last week, Motorola officially introduced this phone through a teaser video, along with its full specifications. According to the latest information, the Moto X70 Air Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
It comes with a triple 50MP rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera for crisp, sharp photos. The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with wireless charging support and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and IP69 water and dust resistance.
Looking closely at the phone’s on-paper specifications, it seems designed for performance and hardcore gaming. It is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which supports a maximum primary clock speed of 3.8GHz and an efficiency core speed of 3.2GHz. The 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate is expected to deliver an excellent viewing experience.
On the camera front, the Moto X70 Air Pro may fall slightly behind in megapixels, as many competitors are pushing advanced camera technologies. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to experiment with extra lens coatings to reduce glare, while the Huawei Pura 90 is expected to feature a large 1-inch primary sensor to enhance mobile photography.

Interestingly, the company has not revealed an official launch date yet. However, a tipster has claimed that the Moto X70 Air Pro will launch in India under the Moto Signature brand name. According to source (via X/Gadgetsdata), the phone is expected to debut in India on January 7, 2026.
