Vivo’s OriginOS 6 Beta is now open to international users, showcasing some incredible UI elements that look amazing. While OriginOS has always prioritized comfort, it now offers a stunning visual experience for global users. Features like the Dynamic Island, shadow effects, and a lock screen with glass effects deliver an exceptional user experience.
Sources have shared screenshots of the OriginOS 6 Beta, showing a stable and smooth user experience. According to the reports, the lock screen notifications feature glass effects that look incredible. The Beta version of OriginOS 6 appears in the Software Update section, where users need to register first to receive the beta update on the eligible dates.
From the glimpses shared, it is clear that Vivo is planning to add some Artificial Intelligence features while continuing to focus on comfort and visual experience. The new UI completely shifts from the standard look, moving toward the most comfortable and user-friendly update yet.

The glimpses show some oversaturation on the app icons, which appears to be a minor weak point of the new update. Aside from this, the update clearly reflects hard work and impressive engineering.
Moving on to expectations for the new UI update, OriginOS is highly anticipated to bring a Dynamic Island feature similar to the one in the iPhone 15 series. In addition, Vivo has added shadow effects to enhance the visual experience.
OriginOS and FuntouchOS users are already familiar with the Jovi Voice Assistant, which has now been upgraded in OriginOS 6 to offer exciting new capabilities.
It can perform real-time call translation, summarize calls, and handle calls in ways similar to the newly launched Equal AI, which debuted on October 2nd in India.
The Dynamic Island is truly dynamic, working seamlessly with many apps—from stopwatches and music to battery charging, call notifications, and many other exciting features.
FuntouchOS, which is primarily installed on global models of Vivo and iQOO phones, is now evolving to behave more like a standard OS. Users have often complained about clutter and the lack of timely access to new features that many other tech giants provide regularly.
Vivo launched the new OriginOS 6 Beta for global users on September 29, 2025, and it is already attracting significant attention from the international market. This strong response is prompting Vivo to gradually phase out FuntouchOS.
Users who want to experience the new OriginOS 6 can register for the beta program, which is now live for international users with eligible devices. To register, go to Settings > System Update, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, select Version Trial, and then tap Beta Sign-Up. A registration form will appear—fill it out and submit it to join the program.
Vivo will likely release the stable OriginOS 6 first on the Vivo X200 series and iQOO 13; the rest of the other models will get it in the next batches.
Note: The beta version contains bugs that may cause issues on your phone, so use the beta software at your own risk.
