Vivo X300 Series Officially Debuts With Samsung 200MP Sensors and Huge 200MP Periscopic Lens

Vivo has officially unveiled new specifications for the Vivo X300 series at the Vivo X Series Blueprint Imaging Technology Communication Meeting, as reported by ITHome. During the event, Vivo highlighted upgrades to its imaging technology, which will debut in the X300 series. The company has partnered with Samsung to develop HPB 200MP sensors featuring ZEISS T* Coating.

Sources indicate that the photosensitive size has increased by 125% compared to the previous generation. The imaging sensor measures 1/1.4″ (11.4 mm), making it relatively large and capable of capturing more light and converting it accurately into digital imagery. This allows the sensor to perform exceptionally well even in low-light conditions.

Vivo has also enhanced image stabilization. The X300 series features CIPA 4.5-level anti-shake, ensuring much more stable video quality.

The Live Photo function has also been upgraded, reducing shake by nearly 40% compared to the previous generation.

Powering the Vivo X300 series is the flagship Dimensity 9500 chip, which delivers greater stability, improved power efficiency, and optimized performance for both gaming and multitasking.

Vivo has also introduced a new high-pixel landscape algorithm that enables stunning 200MP landscape shots. Co-engineered with MediaTek, the system supports 50MP portraits at all focal lengths, ensuring consistent clarity across different shooting scenarios.

For telephoto capabilities, the X300 series comes equipped with a ZEISS 200MP APO super-telephoto lens. This lens reduces color fringing, enhances sharpness across the frame, and supports ZEISS T* coating along with CIPA 5.5-level stabilization for superior anti-shake performance.

On the front, the device features a 50MP sensor with an upgraded focal length from 24mm to 20mm, offering enhanced GTR texture portraits for sharper and more detailed selfies.

The Pro Model of the Vivo X300 Series offers the Sony LYT-828 main sensor with +30% anti-shake vs. the X200 Pro, which is supposed to be gimbal-level stabilization.

As for the availability, the phone will launch on 13th October and will take 1 month for the global launch, as netizens and many different sources claim.
